I hope everyone had a great Easter! We spent ours checking out a new spot, The Deer’s Head Inn, having brunch with close friends. Then Lance and I headed over to his parents for dinner. I made a few desserts to bring including a Lemon Pie and Chocolate Chip Cookies. Both desserts were SO good! It was a really fun weekend, and I’m lucky to have such a close group of friends and family to spend Easter with.
Although the weekend was great, the weather is still in the 30’s & 40’s! It’s been so chilly, and we still have patches of snow on the ground. I shot this look with my friend Megan the other week, and it’s still fitting to post today. I’m hoping in the next few weeks we’ll see some Spring temps. I’m itching to spend some time outside after the long winter we had.

Wearing black and gold together is one of my favorite combinations. It gives an outfit a more polished look. When I want to dress up a little more than my every day look, I’ll grab my Ray-Ban sunglasses and my Rebecca Minkoff purse to accessories my outfit. Both accessories go with so much including my black puffer jacket.
