My son, Levi, is turning 4 in January, and this holiday season has been so special. He's now starting to understand the holidays, and he's getting so excited for them. I feel like I'm re-living my childhood all over again. I'm really intentional with my gifts to him. I focus on his interests (anything vehicle [...]

Black and Gold
I hope everyone had a great Easter! We spent ours checking out a new spot, The Deer's Head Inn, having brunch with close friends. Then Lance and I headed over to his parents for dinner. I made a few desserts to bring including a Lemon Pie and Chocolate Chip Cookies. Both desserts were SO good! It was a really fun weekend, and I'm lucky to have such a close group of friends and family to spend Easter with.
Cozy and Casual
Lately it feels like Spring will never arrive. We've had 2 Nor'easter's this month, the temperature has been in the negatives at night and there's still a couple of feet of snow on the ground. I thought for sure we would get an early Spring but living in New York you never know what to expect!

Holiday Tradition Cinnamon Rolls
I always look forward to traditions. Not just during the holidays but any time of year. I feel it's nice to have something to look forward to no matter how big or small the tradition is. My fiance's mom makes cinnamon rolls for the holidays, and I already can't wait to have one on Christmas [...]
Rosemary Sea Salt Sweet Potato Rolls
If you choose to cook one thing, they have to be these amazing Rosemary Sea Salt Sweet Potato Rolls. I feel there's nothing that tastes better than fresh baked bread out of the oven. They are topped with a honey butter mixture and sprinkled with sea salt. The thought of making homemade bread is intimidating, [...]
Raspberry Almond Thumbprint Shortbread Cookies
Lately one of my most favorite things to make are cookies. I'm not sure if it's because I'm getting into the holiday spirit or I just love trying different cookie recipes out. So far this holiday season I've made my all time favorite, Peanut Butter Blossoms, but I wanted to try a recipe that I've [...]
