Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing

Everyone's favorite dressing made homemade! This Buttermilk Ranch Dressing is creamy, herby, tangy, garlicy and delicious! Fresh parsley and dill wakes this dressing up and brings it to life. Enjoy as a dressing or as a dip!  I'm starting to make homemade salad dressings more and more lately. You may have seen my homemade caesar [...]

Italian Sausage Rigatoni

Warm, wonderful and rich sauce flavored with Italian sausage, onion, garlic, spices, red wine and plum tomatoes. Italian Sausage Rigatoni is the ultimate comfort meal that's delicious any time of year. Serve with warm baked bread and a crisp, fresh salad. Pasta is one of my ultimate comfort meals. I love the way it creates [...]

Peanut Butter Brownies

Dollops of peanut butter filling placed in brownie batter and swirled together creating thick, fudgey, rich brownies you'll love! Just as easy as buying a boxed brownie mix, but tastes even better! Let's just say I've never made from scratch brownies before...ever. I know! That's so bad! lol I can remember my twin sister, Emily, [...]

Homemade Banana Pudding

Old Fashioned Banana Pudding layered with nilla wafers, silky vanilla pudding, sliced bananas and homemade whipped cream.  My co-worker and I love the show Fixer Upper, and one day we were talking about Joanna's new cookbook, Magnolia Table. I remember sending my co-worker a video clip I saw online of Jo and Chip on the Today [...]

Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwich

There's a cafe down the street from where I work that serves the best chicken salad croissant sandwiches. Croissants are my weakness. I can never get enough of that flaky butter deliciousness! Whenever I feel like having something a little different than my usual salad for lunch, I'll head up to the cafe for their amazing chicken salad sandwich. One of my favorite parts of chicken salad is having all the extras in there - the crunch I get from the celery, apples and sliced almonds is the best. This chicken salad is also made with a lightened up dressing, which is so good! It's a mix of mayo and greek yogurt with a splash of lemon juice and some spices.

7 Grilling Recipes To Try This Summer

What does everyone have planned this weekend? Any special recipes you're grilling? I actually surprised Lance with a grill for Christmas. I recommend not buying one off season but that's another story. lol We put it on the deck a few weeks ago and have made some really great recipes so far! It's my first time experimenting with the grill, but so far the recipes have come out great! After being at work all day, it's nice to come home and grill for dinner. It gets me outside a little longer than I normally would be if I was making something in the kitchen. I hope you enjoy the recipes and have a great Memorial Day Weekend!

Sunday Night Cooking Series Recipes

Lance and I have been having so much fun doing our Sunday night cooking series! We've had some pretty amazing dinners, and I really want to share what I thought of each recipe with you guys. If your not familiar, Lance and I pick out a recipe to make on Sunday nights, either one we've made before or one that's new to us. We video the process of us prepping dinner, and then I post it on social media. We do this as a way to get more of the recipes we love out to everyone. Lance and I cook a lot, and I wish I could post every recipe on the blog, so the videos are another fun way to show more of the recipes we make.

S’mores Cupcakes

Last week my sister, Chira, posted a picture of S'mores Cupcakes on her Facebook page. It was my nephew, Evan's, 10th birthday, and Chira made them to bring to Evan's classroom to celebrate. S'mores are one of my favorite desserts. I love the combo of graham crackers, melted chocolate and gooey marshmallow. They are such a staple dessert in the summer. These cupcakes are a nice alternative when you can't toast the marshmallow outside over a fire. For these cupcakes, you have a chocolate cupcake topped with fluffy marshmallow frosting and a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs.
