Happy Friday guys! It's supposed to be such a nice weekend but SO hot. 100 degrees on Sunday! We never get this type of weather in the Adirondacks, so it will definitely be a change! I've been looking up recipes for how to make homemade ice cream 1.) For all the strawberries I picked last [...]
I'm still in weekend mode after a fun couple of days! On Saturday I met up with my mom, who I haven't seen since last Fall. My parents are staying at their camp, which is about an hour away, for the summer. My mom and I went to the local farmer's market, which we ended [...]
Stripes are usually my go-to pattern, but there's something about wearing gingham in the spring and summer that I absolutely love. This off the shoulder gingham top is so cute, and I'm loving the tiered ruffles on the sleeves. How different, right?! I love this top because it's such a fun shirt to wear. I'm also a big fan of the long sleeves, yet it's still lightweight enough to wear through summer. I like tucking it into the front of my jeans to make it a little more structured, which I normally do this with most of my shirts. Gingham is very in for this season, but it's been a favorite of mine for a long time! Are you loving the gingham pattern this season too?
You can never have too many pairs of shoes! They are my favorite way to pull an outfit together. When I'm done getting ready and step into a pair of shoes I just feel my whole look is complete. I've been getting more experimental with my shoe choices and within the last year I bought a pair of espadrille wedges, pink Adidas sneakers, ankle length rain boots, and blush loafers to add to my collection. There are so many cute styles I'm eyeing this spring from gingham sandals, perforated mules, espadrille wedges and more!
I can’t believe it’s the last week of March! Easter is right around the corner, and I’ve been looking for a cute outfit to wear. There’s so many good options, and I wanted to share my picks with you guys! I’ve been loving jumpsuits lately, and I’ve included one below. This time of year in New York it’s really hit or miss weather wise, and wearing a jumpsuit with a light jacket would be perfect if it was on the chillier side. I don’t wear dresses that often because we have cold weather 6-7 months out of the year. #NewYorkWinters However, last year I remember Easter was a little later, and I got to wear one of my favorite dresses. It was such a perfect spring day!
Lately it feels like Spring will never arrive. We've had 2 Nor'easter's this month, the temperature has been in the negatives at night and there's still a couple of feet of snow on the ground. I thought for sure we would get an early Spring but living in New York you never know what to expect!
Peacoat (Similar) l Sweater (Similar) l Jeans l Purse l Scarf (old) l Boots (Similar) l Sunglasses This winter has been unbearably cold, and I've been wearing my Marmot coat non-stop. It's become habit to put it on every morning and go. When we finally get temps near 40 degrees (winter heat wave!) I tend to go for something [...]
