Grey Duster

When Lance and I have a lot going on usually last minute we'll decide to go on a date night or hang out with our friends. I tend to put on something pretty casual. My go-to is always jeans and a t-shirt, but I paired this look with black mules and a grey duster to make it a little more chic instead of an everyday jean and tee style.

Gingham Off The Shoulder Top

Stripes are usually my go-to pattern, but there's something about wearing gingham in the spring and summer that I absolutely love. This off the shoulder gingham top is so cute, and I'm loving the tiered ruffles on the sleeves. How different, right?! I love this top because it's such a fun shirt to wear. I'm also a big fan of the long sleeves, yet it's still lightweight enough to wear through summer. I like tucking it into the front of my jeans to make it a little more structured, which I normally do this with most of my shirts. Gingham is very in for this season, but it's been a favorite of mine for a long time! Are you loving the gingham pattern this season too?

Spring Shoes I’m Loving This Season

You can never have too many pairs of shoes! They are my favorite way to pull an outfit together. When I'm done getting ready and step into a pair of shoes I just feel my whole look is complete. I've been getting more experimental with my shoe choices and within the last year I bought a pair of espadrille wedges, pink Adidas sneakers, ankle length rain boots, and blush loafers to add to my collection. There are so many cute styles I'm eyeing this spring from gingham sandals, perforated mules, espadrille wedges and more!

Green Military Jacket

In the spring I like to add layers to my outfits. Early in the morning when I head to work, it's still chilly enough that I need to throw on a jacket before I head out the door. Although it's on the cooler side, I tend to wear a lighter jacket, since I know by the afternoon it usually warms up about 20 degrees. This green military jacket is one of my most worn pieces. It's lightweight and can be styled all different ways.

Black and Gold

I hope everyone had a great Easter! We spent ours checking out a new spot, The Deer's Head Inn, having brunch with close friends. Then Lance and I headed over to his parents for dinner. I made a few desserts to bring including a Lemon Pie and Chocolate Chip Cookies. Both desserts were SO good! It was a really fun weekend, and I'm lucky to have such a close group of friends and family to spend Easter with.

Easter Outfits

I can’t believe it’s the last week of March! Easter is right around the corner, and I’ve been looking for a cute outfit to wear. There’s so many good options, and I wanted to share my picks with you guys! I’ve been loving jumpsuits lately, and I’ve included one below. This time of year in New York it’s really hit or miss weather wise, and wearing a jumpsuit with a light jacket would be perfect if it was on the chillier side. I don’t wear dresses that often because we have cold weather 6-7 months out of the year. #NewYorkWinters However, last year I remember Easter was a little later, and I got to wear one of my favorite dresses. It was such a perfect spring day!

The One Item You Need For Spring

The one piece of clothing I know that will match absolutely everything in my closet is my trench coat. It makes every outfit feel effortlessly put together. No matter if I’m running an errand with a messy bun, ripped jeans and flats or if I’m heading to work with my hair curled, a dress and heels, wearing my trench coat is the perfect coat for any style or occasion. It’s one of the best investment pieces I’ve purchased, already lasting me a few years. I styled it with a black button up shirt, dark denim jeans and knee high boots. I would wear this outfit out to dinner with friends or a casual day at the office.

Chartreuse Jacket

When I start reaching for this jacket, I know Spring is around the corner. I drift from my winter neutrals and begin to gravitate towards some colorful pieces in my wardrobe. This chartreuse jacket is one of my favorites. It's a color you don't see too often, and I like how it really sets it apart from the other jackets I own. The chartreuse color really makes a statement - it's eye catching plus brings a fresh look to a new season.
