Mock Neck Sweater

Happy Friday everyone! Lance took these photos last weekend before we headed to the Lake Placid Lodge to pick out our menu for our wedding. (This was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning so far besides going dress shopping with my mom!) We were also running errands that day, so I decided to wear boots and a cozy sweater which is basically my winter uniform. I feel warm enough but yet put together.  Red is definitely an under worn color for me, but I’m starting to get more pieces because I love the color! I just got a really cute red scallop top.

This sweater has a mock turtleneck which I love. It’s add just enough detail and keeps me warm. I’m not a huge fan regular turtlenecks because they feel confined, but this mock version is pretty loose. I paired it with some dark denim, my brown leather boots and vintage bag. I hope everyone has a great weekend! I’m meeting up with some friends tomorrow for book club and brunch.  I loved the book we picked, The Woman in Cabin 10.
